I received my initial training in massage from the New School for Massage, Bodywork, & Healing in Chicago, IL in 2006. Following graduation, and in order to follow what I discovered to be one of my life’s callings, I embarked upon additional training at the world renowned Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California. Shortly after arriving at Esalen, I became a preschool teacher for children ages 1-6 at Esalen’s Gazebo School Park, a job I felt was the hardest, yet most fulfilling job I’ve ever had. I took the opportunity to live at Esalen with zeal, taking as many workshops as time, interest, and money would allow. My favorite workshops were massage and bodywork, Gestalt process, and movement practices like Vinn Marti’s SoulMotion and Gabrielle Roth’s 5Rhythms. Always looking to expand and deepen my skill set in massage and bodywork, I take Continuing Education classes regularly throughout the year. I moved to the Big Island of Hawaii in December 2008, and relocated to Maui in January 2011.  I am also proud to be part of Maui’s premier resort Spa, serving guests at the  Four Seasons Resort at Wailea.

“It is my belief that the simple act of mindful touch can be a profound healing in and of itself. I balance scientific, proven techniques with intuition, and see my role more as a facilitator of your own healing process and a witness to the natural unfolding that process entails. Patience, presence, and openness are traits I bring to the table. I am comfortable with both light and deep bodywork, drawing on training from several modalities, ranging from Sports, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, CranioSacral Therapy, Myofascial Release, Swedish, and Thai, to name a few.”
